WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a manual technique that uses a handheld tool with microneedles. These microneedles allow artists to create hair like strokes in the skin, mincing your natural hair pattern. This treatment will implant pigment into the top layers of the skin making it a semi-permanent tattoo. Results can last 1-3 years on average. Touch ups are recommended once a year. Fading can happen due to many factors such as skin type and lifestyle.

*Best suitable for clients with normal to dry skin types.

WHAT IS MICROBLADING & SHADING?

Microblading + Shading is a technique that blends both microblading and microshading together. During this treatment we will use a machine that gently deposits little, tiny pixels of pigment into the skin. This gives the appearance of a fuller natural looking brow. With both techniques you are implanting pigment into the top layers of the skin making it a semi-permanent tattoo. Results can last 1-3 years on average. Touch ups are recommended once a year. Fading can happen due to many factors such as skin type and lifestyle.

*Best suitable for clients with normal to dry skin types

*Better option for clients with oily skin types.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT?

When you arrive to your appointment your general information/consent form should be filled out before you arrive to your appointment! The reason we have you fill out this form before your appointment is to make sure you're a good candidate. We also recommend you read our pre/post instructions to better prepare you for your treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE?

Upon arrival we will start off with a consultation to make sure we are preforming the appropriate treatment for you. We will go over your goals and what you are trying to achieve and answer any questions you might have. After that we will start the process of mapping which can last anywhere between 30 minutes to 1-1/2 hour. We will not begin your treatment until you give us the go ahead! After your treatment we will give you post care products and instructions on how to care for your brows. You will need to make an appointment for your free touch up in 4-6 weeks.

DOES COSMETIC TATTOO HURT?

Our goal is to make sure you are as comfortable as possible during your treatment. We will use a topical numbing cream that can be reapplied to the skin multiple times during the treatment to ensure your comfort level is achieved.

WHAT WILL MY HEALING BE LIKE?

Honestly, it differs from client to client. Most clients will feel a little tender and experience little to no flaking of the skin. You will feel like your brows are darker because the ink is resting on top of your skin, but once you start healing your skin will start to form over and around your tattoo and they can even "disappear" then reappear which is completely normal. Your brows will keep changing for the next few weeks. That's why we have you come back for a follow up appointment. You might experience missing hair strokes due to scabbing or flaking in that area. Hair strokes can shrink which is normal. The color of the pigment will keep changing for the next 4-6 weeks. When you come back, we will know if you are 100% happy with the color or if you want to go with a darker pigment. It's better to be more conservative at the first appointment because we can always go thicker or darker at your touch up appointment. you can always add not take away.
